The orchard has been created around the existing damson tree. It consists of a variety of small fruit and nut trees under planted with native wild flowers and grasses, creating a woodland walk. This area is vital for pollinators and bees - a wild corner of the garden.
The greenhouse at the rear of the garden is accessed by a pathway which runs beneath a pergola planted with climbing roses. The addition of raised beds creates space for growing vegetables, fruit and herbs.
The existing terrace will be updated with Indian Sandstone. Structural planting throughout the terraced beds and within large planters creates an exotic mediterranean feel. A herb garden and blocks of lavender add colour and scent to the entertaining space. Low clipped hedges on the upper terraces achieve a sharp edged, linear appearance which continues through the design into the lawn area above.

The lawn area is divided into two spaces by a low clipped topiary hedge. The main lawn is surrounded by raised borders filled with larger structural plant, ferns, grasses and mixed perennials to achieve a cottage garden look.
